It's homecoming day.

It's also Xinmin's birthday.

And it's also the day, when all the hard work paid off.

Refer to the post and you will realise how important "Yes, we can!" is to me.

Let me talk about Xinmin.

It's an ordinary neighbourhood school but with all the unique people.

Or maybe it's just our batch.

It's really a wonderful feeling to be back in school today.

All the memories, all the fun.

It's just very mind-blowing.

At the same time last year, we tore down the largest can structure.

It's when people started to cry.

Even I cannot take it.

Lying on the top of the can structure, I thought of the first day of joining "Yes we can"

I was studying with Ivan at the canteen.

And then I saw this group of awesome people washing cans.

Felt damn curious and I asked Clement whether I could join.

Then Clement asked me to ask Kelvin.

And that's the first time I got to know Kelvin.

And after the first night, then the second night, third night, first week, second week, one month, two month, three months and we did it.

In that period of time, I've made invaluable friendship.

Those are the people that make me love my school.

If I didn't join, I think I wouldn't have known these awesome people.

Hardi, Kelvin, Jun Wen, Zhi Yang, Wing Lun, Zong Han.

All of them really made me learn much more about life.

And about the ability to lead.

Wing Lun and Kelvin, the PD and the APD, had such respect from the people from the same batch.

Shows that I was someone so not involved in school and just some ordinary person.

Inspired by them, I've decided to step up.

I joined the committee and I was the working crew IC.

Being supported by the other committee members, I was able to lead the group of people.

It was considered the first leading experience.

The kind of feeling we get in Yes We Can, it's unexplainable.

Only people who are in it get it.

It's those kind of feeling where by you feel part of a group, a team.

And the bond between us is so strong.

I really loved the time we spent during Yes We Can.

Now the project has been over for a year, I still miss the smell, the sound, the sight, the texture of the cans.

I miss everyone of you.

Though our 10/04 promised didn't turn out well.

I hope everyone still remembers this project, despite going separate routes.

Yes We Can!

Today was really a very (Y) day.

Went back to xinmin for homecoming.

Seeing all the teachers, friends, school itself.

It just makes me happy.

Very tired to blog already.

But after homecoming, went back home with wing and Chin Yue to go and bathe.

After that went to lan at Venus with Ryan, Kelvin, Chong Yu and Zong Han.

It was damn fun.

Then after that left together with Wing.

It was raining and we ran to the bus stop together.

Talked about life.

HTHT.

Skipped my bus stop just to talk longer with him.

It's really been a long time since I talked to him.

I remember every chinese lesson I would tell him about my story.

Then he would tell me about his problem too.

It's just so simple.

Not forceful, very natural.

It just feels good la simply put.

Then after that went to J8 to find 401.

Again, it just makes me feel part of a class.

Like it's my awesome class.

I see Jeremy and I was damn happy.

Like damn long never see him.

The word I miss you just come out smoothly.

Cause I really miss him.

HAHAHA

So we went to buy MOS burger and ate at some lepak corner.

Took picture here and there.

Damn fun!

Today was really damn fun.

But oh well, we left early.

At around 9.30 everyone started leaving already.

So train-ed to Hougang and then later they went to take 27 while Sherine and I went to find Wing and Min Jian.

Then in the end we got chased out because Sherine was wearing uniform.

Freaking B**CH sia that person.

So sent her home and then went home afterwards!

Oh and about squishing snail and cockroach.

I squished a cockroach and sherine accidentally kicked a snail.
