Why I love climbing
Just spamming .

Today's post will just be the reasons why I love climbing so much.
And I will be sharing some pictures with everyone.
:)
Climbing is just mind blowing.
I really don't know which part of climbing to start with.
Let's start with a picture.
This is Chris Sharma, it's almost all the climbers idol.
This can be seen when all the climbers start to shout like him.
Whenever we push and commit ourselves, we will "SAHHHHH!"
And that is what Chris Sharma always do.
The SAHHH for all climbers is like a power boost.
It's like we can't climb without it.
That's why if you walk into a climbing gym, you will always hear all the AHHHH or the SAHHHH or the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU when someone falls down.
How do I put this.
The climbing community is small.
The most famous climbing video on youtube don't even have 50k views.
Like 20+ k views only.
I was telling Yong Sheng the other day.
Just take this train for example, how many people in the train are climbers?
Probably only the two of us.
That's 2 out of a thousand?
It's really very small.
I met a new friend named Tony today.
He's an intermediate climber.
I asked him "Who you come with today?"
"Oh, I come alone. Hahaha. Just to see whether there are familiar faces."
It's really very easy to talk to someone with the same passion.
It's like no matter what the character of the person is, as long as he got passion for climbing, he has respect from all the other climbers.
Let's take for example, Teng Wei.
Everybody thinks he sucks at climbing.
Everybody laughs at him when he say he's going to be the best climber in the CCA.
But nobody knew that he really worked that hard and he was indeed the best climber in MJ during Gravical.
This is Gravical 2012.
I was ranked 82 / 160+ people.
It was not really that impressive though.
Hahahaha.
I still suck.
I told myself I would finish 2 routes in the next coming competition.
That's what is pushing me to keep training and training.
Nothing can stop me from training.
No amount of workload can stop me from climbing.
No one can stop me from climbing.
There's just a very strong desire in my heart to climb.
Almost every 1 hour, I would think of climbing at least once.
And it happens everyday.
Hahahaha.
Climber's hand are all very itchy.
If you observe me in school or anywhere, I will always pinch or crimp stuffs.
Just to feel how they feel on my hands.
Let's talk about during climbing.
Climbing, I must say it's not easy.
For me, what I like most about climbing is doing very difficult moves and overcoming it to reach the top.
The feeling of trying and trying and SAHHHH-ing and SAHHH-ing until I touch the next hold is a satisfaction for me.
The satisfaction is really unique.
How do I explain this feeling.
It's like you have a very tough maths problem that you don't understand in your head.
Then you spend like an hour or more to think about it.
You think and think and twist your mind and continue thinking until you GET IT.
That's almost the same feeling.
And the best thing about this "maths problem" is, you are not alone.
All my friends will be doing the same problem as me.
And everyone understands how the person climbing feels.
And then it comes the allez, allez which means "Jia you" in france.
There's really a lot more to climbing.
No matter how much I try to explain how much I love climbing, people won't understand.
And people would probably think we are mad people who waste our time away.
But seriously, you people are those that are wasting your time away :)
Climb, climb, climb.

Jalan Kayu
Hahahaha.
Gonna blog little.
Because I wanna play draw my thing.
ANYWAY, TODAY HAS BEEN A DAY WITH A TOTALLY CHANGED LIFESTYLE.
No more routines.
"And that makes school life more interesting" - Eugene.
Yup.
During recess and lunch, me and Eugene cycled to Macs and Esso to buy food.
Damn shiok.
With a bike damn shiok hahaha.
Anyway, after school, supposed to go ah ma house at around 5.30.
Then later drag and drag and drag.
Ryan Phua skipped the first part of his training because he claimed to have gastric pain.
Then he has to eat something to solve the problem.
LOL then he freaking ate tom yam noodle in front of his sailing team.
Then all of them down there doing sit ups.
Freaking funny.
Okay anyway, Eugene went home first to take his stuffs while me and Yi Da went to boulder awhile.
Okay only me actually.
I saw Allen climbing so I went to talk to him.
Hahaha.
The last time I climbed with him was actually the first time I met him and Casper.
Then from then on we don't even say hi when we walk past each other.
Hahaha.
I think he also quite passionate in climbing one.
And he's strong.
And the best thing is, he's climbing with me tomorrow.
Cause I jio him.
HAHAHA.
Shiok.
Tomorrow a lot people climbing.

The thing that gonna wake me up from my groggy morning would be the thought of climbing.
Every tuesday and thursday. :)
Good life.
Cycling to macs for wasabi fillet o fish probably tomorrow.
SHIOK AH.
Anyway, went to my ahma's house at jalan kayu with eugene and yi da.
Eugene want go there to sew some things and my second aunt damn good at sewing things.
Really thank her sia.
Hahaha.
Then watched 995.
Damn nice to watch.
Then after watching, went to eat prata with them at around 10.15?
The tissue prata like never ending one.
No matter how much you tear out, there's still a big lump of tissue prata in front of your face.
Imba.
Hahahaha.
Yup so after eating, they cabbed home while I 85 -> 372 -> 156 home.
Maths tutorial undone.
Econs get 4/25.
GP 14/50.
What else can I do?
Like screwing up with my life.
Hahahaha.
Oh, tomorrow got Chem test.
DIEEEEEEEEEEEEee.
Don't worry, I will start working hard once road race is over!

It will rain

Anyway, forgot to blog yesterday.
Hahahaha.
Yesterday was a good day.
Which weekends ain't good?
Hahaha.
Let's see.
Woke up and then went to change specs?
But apparently the shop at Rivervale was closed.
So went to 600+ there to change.
So got this 150 red specs.
Gonna look the same anyway.
Hahaha.
But right now it's black!
Wooo.
Red specs for step!
Anyway, after that, went home and then took my climbing stuffs and off I go towards Climb Asia!
Met Yong Sheng at Hougang first before going.
Then the 2 of us went to meet MJ at Farrer Park.
Hahaha.
So went to CA.
Level 1 was totally empty.
But they didn't want to climb below.
Sad.
So went up, then super sian.
Cause MJ damn tired, can't set route.
Then YS also damn sian, no mood to boulder.
But in the end the mood was there when Hwee Chiat and Hwee Young came.
Hahaha.
Then John came also.
So got more people to climb.
Yup.
YS left early cause he meeting Daryl they all at Nex.
Then he abit sick also.
Lol.
So continued climbing.
Then later John left for work too at 5.30?
Then left me Hwee Chiat and Hwee Young and Min Jian at CA.
So climbed awhile more with this bunch of NS guys then left with MJ.
Went to IKEA with MJ , Fizzy and Francine.
Went to eat there and then walked around.
Hahaha.
Yup.
After that walked with them all the way to MJ.
Went there to lock my bike even more secure.
Cause I damn scared got matt want steal.
Now it's locked to the fence.
WOOOT.
Okay anyway, cycled one round around the school at around 11.40?
LOL.
Then missed the freaking bus.
So they decided to cab home.
Yup so the 4 of us cabbed home.
Then draw my thing.
Then blah blah.
Hahaha.
TODAY.
Have been super boring.
Stayed at home and dota.
And study at the same time.
I only studied Carboxylic Acid after so long.
SUCKK.
Oh btw, yesterday Min Jian told me something that made me feel not alone.
"I feel like quitting school and climb everyday."
Hahahaha.
I told that to Amsyar before.
Then he say "Siao ah you serious?"
Of course.
Not.

Finally
A good day to end my week.
This morning really cannot wake up.
Like my eyes just close and lie in bed.
Damn lazy to open my eyes.
Then once the thought of going to play bball with John and MJ came, I immediately open my eyes and went to bathe.
Damn exciting lor.
Hahahaha.
When you look forward to this particular day.
No matter what time you wake up you will still feel awake one.
True?
Anyway, I bought bike from Eugene today.
He bought his $298 bike already.
Next time can cycle with him during break.
Anyway, I damn scared my bike kena stolen.
I never lock to the gate or anything.
I just lock the wheel with the centre.
If you get what I mean.
Hahahaha.
Bike's damn fun.
Really hope my bike won't get stolen.
The next time I will lock properly already.
Or maybe I will park outside my house la.
Just damn scared my parents find out.
My first time being so rebellious .

I really don't know what I want to do man.
Mr Hon asked me why this year I become like that.
I just told him I damn tired of studying already.
Tsk.
I don't know how to say this.
It's like if I talk about how important it is to chase one's passion / dream, adult or very realistic people won't agree with me.
But is it really wrong to dream.
I just feel damn helpless.
That I'm stuck in this society system.
And that if I try to break free, I won't gain support.
There's so much in life other than working and studying man.
We have one life.
Around 80 years?
1/4 life studying.
1/2 life working.
1/4 life in the hospital.
How can money bring about happiness if we don't spend it.
Dying with unused lots of money in your bank is like climbing to the top of the mountain and blindfolding yourself from the scenery.
Working hard but no happiness.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

That's why I love my secondary school friends hahahaha.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IVAN LOW
WAH WAS ABOUT TO BLOG THEN MY MOTHER TOLD ME I TOOK WRONG LONG PANTS.
The feeling of losing things sucks.
ANYWAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY IVAN.
This our 6th year since we know each other.
And this the 6th time I didn't get anything for you.
HAHAHAHA.
Woooo.
Happy birthday.
Wish you will become slimmer and sexier.
HAHAHAHA.
Okay anyways, today has been a rather good day.
Hahaha.
Went to study like around 2+
Oh cause I woke up at 12.30.
Went to study at Bishan CC with MJ and Joey.
Then in the end down there watching climbing videos with MJ.
Next time he say we go take mattress and builder around SG.
HAHA.
Okay anyway, so studying was rather unproductive.
When will it be productive.
LOL.
Okay so after studying went to find Wai Heng at Serangoon.
We arcaded for awhile.
Then it was around 7.40?
So took 101 towards Green.
Went to eat gong bao ji ding then later went to find Ivan and friends.
Went to celebrate Ivan's birthday at his house.
Like there was me, Vincent, Ying Ting, Chelsea, Ivan, Salim, Kenny, Wai Heng and Ivan Ho over the webcam.
Hahahaha.
Drank a bit of wine.
Then played draw my thing.
And blah blah.
So after that, went home and DOTA-ED with Fizz, Zh, Kelvin and Ho.
Hahaha.
Yup we won.
So that's today.

Woohoo
Damn lazy to blog.

Really nothing much to blog about man.
Life's just like that.

Climbing was disappointing today la.
Didn't have the mental push.
I think both my mental and physical damn tired.
I only slept for 6 hours yesterday.
Wasted.
Anyway, after climbing today, went to eat KFC with Cliff, Elaine, MJ, YS and Justin.
Then after KFC we decided to go eat dessert.
Then decided to eat at Andersens.
Then chee bong, they go buy this $65 cake.
THAT MEANS EACH PERSON $11.
For this slice of cake.
WTH.
It's 1 kg.
So it's like what 100+ gram for each person.
Super jia lat.
Anyway, Yong Sheng asked a stupid question then all of us laughed until stomachache.
Eh the cake issit got starch or just ice cream.
IT'S AN ICE CREAM CAKE FGS.
"You know some ice cream cake got starch one. Then how, they inject the ice-cream inside ah?"
LOL then all of us laugh until peng.
It's not really that funny but it's just damn funny.
HAHAHA.
Okay.
ANYWAY, It's time to train hard.

My hand immediately sweat when I typed the word pull up.
Anyway, after eating dessert with them, went to meet Zh and Wai Heng at Nex.
Went to HOTD 4 first.
Woo, 1 credit reached stage 5.
Finally.
Stage 4 damn hard.
The boss.
Yup, then afterwards went to find WH and ZH who were at Carl's junior eating.
Zh's mum was there too.
Hahaha.
So after eating, went to arcade again.
Jubeat 1 round + bishibashi 1 round.
Then went home!
Yup.
Damn tired now.

Climbing was disappointing today la.
Didn't have the mental push.
I think both my mental and physical damn tired.
I only slept for 6 hours yesterday.
Wasted.
Anyway, after climbing today, went to eat KFC with Cliff, Elaine, MJ, YS and Justin.
Then after KFC we decided to go eat dessert.
Then decided to eat at Andersens.
Then chee bong, they go buy this $65 cake.
THAT MEANS EACH PERSON $11.
For this slice of cake.
WTH.
It's 1 kg.
So it's like what 100+ gram for each person.
Super jia lat.
Anyway, Yong Sheng asked a stupid question then all of us laughed until stomachache.
Eh the cake issit got starch or just ice cream.
IT'S AN ICE CREAM CAKE FGS.

Wah.
No time to blog yesterday.
Cause I was chionging the list for the road race which is supposed to be handed in today at 2359.
Yesterday was really hell.
I felt damn sian in school.
Like keep sleeping.
"School is a hotel with bad beds"
Totally.
Always come school and sleep.
Today confirm sleep like mad again.
Slept at 2am last night to rush the road race things.
But the point is not I sleep at 2am.
The point is I already had muscle sore from Wednesday and I went to climb yesterday.
Which adds to the fatigue.
Then today got dragon boat training.
Confirm die like mad.
LOL
Actually, there's really nothing much to blog about yesterday.
I hope I can slowly catch up on school work.
Oh and MJ took a climbing video for me yesterday.

Extremely tired
to blog today.
But thanks A2 for cheering for me while I'm running my 10 rounds.

A2 SO CUTE!
Cannot take it.

Oh and today Pauline told me I was her best senior.
And I felt so good.
Like I succeeded as an OGL.
Hahahaha.
OH cca trials today.
There was this guy called Jonathan who had appendix pain.
Like severe pain.
Rui Guang attended to him cause he was from SJAB last time.
Seeing the TLC side of Rui Guang makes me feel damn touched.
LOL.
But that guy really damn jia lat.
He was sent to the hospital after me and Wei Lun aid him in walking.
Hahahha.
Other than that, school has been awfully boring.
GP lesson.
Wth.
My GP teacher want to confiscate my foolscap because apparently she thinks that I will be distracted by that.
LOL.

I really don't know what I'm doing in life anymore.
Not studying.

Did shit during GP lesson.
Really reminds me of 103/203.
Fooling around during Miss Vemela's class but the other classes we quite obedient.
But, we're 18 already!
LOL.
If classes continue to be like that, I really don't know what my A level results will be like.
And if my GP teacher remains to be like that, I comfirm fail GP.

Anyway, after school today, went for chem retest.
Dr Ramen or however I spell his weird name told me "Waaa, not bad ah. Impressed me. Not bad not bad. But your mechanism still needs to be stronger, but definitely better than Wilfred."

It's been a long time since I heard people's praise.
Felt damn good.

This is real
This is me.
I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be now.
Gonna let the light shine on me.
Not much change over here.
These few days have been very lazy to do anything.
Yesterday was better.
I tried studying chemistry.
Hahaha.
The rest of the subject totally never touch.
I think I need to catch up before the snowball comes.
I'm starting to not understand things in lecture and tutorial.
Then it takes longer time for me to self-study the topics.
Yesterday was rather a good day.
Soccer in the morning.
Supposed to play at around 9am.
But I woke up at 10.30am.
But anyway, I still joined the match.
Hahaha.
Played until like 12.30 then left school.
Went to eat with Hardi, Kelvin, Edmund, Wai Heng, Zong Han and Wing Lun.
Oh and Kelvin's younger brother.
Hahaha.
So after eating, jio-ed zh wh and wing to my house.
Yup so went my house.
Played draw my thing and dota.
Then I tried to study.
But obviously failed.
LOL.
Okay la then after studying, went to change and then left home for Nex.
Went to eat Carl's and then studied awhile on Arenes and then went to arcade.
Hahaha.
Played bishi bashi and jubeat.
Like the usual stuffs.
But this time I topped up too much money.
Now I still got 10 credits left.
Lololol.
Okay so after playing arcade, headed home.
That was like 11pm.
Yup so went home and then played draw my thing until 1am.
Freaking hell.
LOL.
Yup,
That's about it.
Shall watch some climbing videos before going to school.

Tired
Damn tired sia.
Everyday go school sleep.
Should try to pon school 1 day.
Anyway I didn't blog yesterday cause I came home late and I was freaking tired.
Let's see.
We had lessons in the morning all the way until 5.05.
That's hardcore long.
Freaking tired.
But when I saw my OGMs say hi to me, I feel very good hahahaha.
Like wooo, I've a bunch of lovely juniors.
Anyway, climbed at CA after school yesterday.
Then before that, went to check my school wall for awhile.
Then I was matching hand on a crimpy jug.
And I slipped but I was still holding damn tight.
So I pulled my ring finger and it was freaking pain.
I cannot do a lot of routes now.
Never complete all the routes at CA sia.
Anyway, went CA with Amsyar.
Then we take 81 to kovan.
Then saw Isaac on 81.
Is my xms junior from climb.
He can lead climb 6c+.
Zai kia sia.
I can do 5c HAHHA.
Anyway, after climbing with all the climbers, went to eat with a lot of people.
There was me, John, Elaine, Yong Sheng, dias? dios? dius?, Cliff, Stanley, Jia Hui and Justin.
Justin drove us to Whampoa.
Ate prawn noodle at around 10.30 pm.
Hahaha.
Damn shiok life.
Then the freaking John eat freaking a lot.
He's the first person I see eat so much voluntarily.
2~4 meals in 1 meal everyday.
And then so skinny.
LOL.
Damn cool la.
Then when going back, Justin fetched us to Farrer park.
Then talked on the MRT and stuff.
With so many adults.
Hahahaha.
Most of them like older than 21.
Okay I shall go now.
Getting late.
Late for school I mean.

A2, A2, WE TAKE 4H2.
HELLO ALL.
I SWEAR ORIENTATION 2012 WAS A BOMB.
IT'S SO DAMN FUN YEAH.
Today was really a mad day man.
Throat hurting from all the shouts.
But luckily my voice is still there hahaha.
Yup so wake early in the morning.
At 6am.
So went to school.
Was kinda late.
So when I reached school, kinda rushed into the hall.
By the time I reach there, I think the briefing over already.
So I headed down to LT 1 with Nicole to set up laptop and stuff to prepare for Road Race presentation.
Kinda fail.
But then yet again, only like less than 40 people turn up.
Then Mr Din was like so disappointed.
Lol.
So after the presentation, went up to the hall.
Danced awhile then Destin Tay came.
So brought him up with Wei Lun and then started dancing.
After the dance, went to have recess and then later went back up.
Showed video.
Then went down to get ready for wet games finale.
I tell you it was damn fun.
Being the pole IC, I thought I will be dry because I thought I will be protected by my Entrance Guard.
THEN IN THE END ALL FAIL.
So a lot of water bombs hit me and Amsyar.
Which was damn shiok.
Then after the wet games finale, some of the Atlas and Callisto guys all went to the handicap room and play.
Play as in play with water.
And we called it the fun room.
So like 15 or more guys in the toilet then water was splashing around through a water hose.
So all of us literally bathed with our clothes on and jumped around like crazy.
HAHAHA.
Damn funny.
Cause all of us don't know each other but we know each other through this.
Yup so after that fun thingy, went to the field to slack with Wei Sheng and his Wushu friend Leonard.
Hahaha.
Made friends with him.
Realised he's a nice guy.
Hahaha.
So after all this watery thing, went up and then changed into Atlas OGL shirt.
Then later need to make the collage thing.
So instead of instructing people around, asked the two company Advisor to instruct them.
Then me and Theresa just slacked.
LOL.
Yup so after that went to find MJ.
The journey of MJ to MJ.
It was damn funny.
Like wth.
Aiya I damn tired now.
But today was really DAMN DAMN DAMN FUN.
Especially the finale performances.
Then when the DJ put in a nice song, all of us just started jumping around.
Like clubbing says Wei Sheng.
Haahaha.
Yup so after the mad finale night, cleaned up and then went to eat at white sands with Atlas OGL.
Then talk awhile then went home.
Hahaha.
Yup, over slept and missed my stop.

Orientation Day 2
Woooo.
Station IC with Chai today.
Then got all the photog people like Zul, Stefanie, Klarissa and Connie.
Hahaha they all damn cool people.
Zul damn funny.
Hahaha.
Okay anyway, it was quite boring being an station IC.
But absence makes the heart fonder.
LOL.
I really missed my OG when I was being the station IC.
I even ask whether A2 is coming to our zone.
Then when Jean told me yes, I was like YES.
Can see my OG.
Hahaha.
Really think my OG damn cool.
Totally different from other groups.
I felt a bit sad when no one want to stay at vivo but instead all want to go home.
Like no one enjoy the noisiness at the skypark.
All the cheers and stuff.
But when I was feeling disappointed, one of them, I think Pauline shouted my name and the whole OG started doing we say good bye cheer to me.
Wah.
That made my day.
Like all the hardwork really paid off.
Tomorrow will be even more cool.
But it's the last day already.
Hope I don't miss them too much hahaha.

DRAW MY THING
HAHAHAA it's 12.51am now and I'm playing draw my thing with MJ and Fizzy.
Damn funny.
All the things we draw look damn cute.
Just drew one hobo.

Shiok
ODAC LUNCH.
CLIMBING.
That's today.
Odac lunch was really fun.
Hahahaha.
Long time no see ODAC people.
Okay 1 month like that only.
Wah freak damn tired.
Shall go sleep soon.
Anyway, got to know a cool guy during climbing.
Hahahhaha.
His name is John and he's from Phillipines.
We had dinner with him at Chomp chomp.
Hahahha.
Then he said that was prob the best thing he ate in Singapore until now.
AIYA I DAMN TIRED.

Tired
But I can feel the motivation for studying coming in slowly.
After road race and I will work hard.
Road Race comm is so fun man.

Hi all
Lazy to blog today.
But today is a great day.
It feels good somehow, to see people wearing other school uniform instead of the mj uniform in school.
Like after econs lecture, go down to the canteen and see so many different school uniform.
At least it made me feel better as compared to everything blue blue blue.
Maybe that's why wednesdays are less tiring.
AHHHHHh.
Very tired ah.
Hahaha but I enjoyed the singing session with the HC today at the piano.
Damn fun.
It's the end of admin days.
Next week going to be much much more fun.
J1s, enjoy all you can.
Because in your whole 2 years in MJ, I supposed this 2 weeks would be your best time in JC.
Seriously, JC SUCKS.
Hahahaha.
I remembered during 2010 JAE period, I thinking whether to go SP business course.
Was thinking of taking accounting.
I wonder what it would be like if I'm in SP now.
At times, I really regret coming to JC.
Because of the stress
But sometimes, I don't regret making the friends here.
Some are nice la at least.
Hahahaha.
1 more year.
If I hate it, I also must live through it.
So why not live through it happily.

Came home.
Wanted so bad to sleep.
But dad had to lecture me for what half and hour?
I really don't see anything wrong about chasing my own passion, chasing my happiness.
Why are all adults stopping me from getting my happiness.
I don't want my teenage life to be boring.
I'm still young.
I don't want to be so mature yet.
I want to be able to explain my youth to people when they ask me in the future.
I'm only 17.
It's the time to have fun.
Of course I know I have to study.
No matter what, I still have to have a future at least.
But come on, I really know what I'm doing.
I just love climbing so much that I can't stop it.
Like marcus yeo, he climb everyday for his j1 life.
But he still did not bad for A level?
But still, I know that my parents feel sad that I don't accompany them enough.
That I will change.
Try to go home earlier and stuff.
But my dad thinks that because he scolded me yesterday, then today I purposely don't want go home early.
That totally flared me up.
Like wth.
He really thinks I'm that childish.
Childish and fun is two different thing.
Ahh, whatever.
Never stop climbing.
