Hello everybody.
Today woke up at 9+ and then used the computer awhile before going to tuition.
Today's tuition was so full and I had to sit beside Mr Sany.
Yong Guan was with us hooray!
So after tuition, talked to Yong Guan about the trip I'm going to at night.
Then it made me not feel like going but in the end the trip was totally different from what he had described.
So went to eat Macdonald with Chin Yue at Kovan.
After eating rushed home to change into jeans + shoes.
Then took 101 at Monfort.
101 came and then met Ivan on the bus.
Went to sit beside him and then we took the bus to Serangoon MRT.
Reached and then went down and then went up again to buy drinks.
Waste of time LOL.
Then later met Zong Han and then the three of us took the NE line to Dhoby Ghaut.
Waited for Chong Yu at the red line and he was LATE because he went to buy some guitar pick and stuff.
Then as usual Ivan was ogling at girls while waiting for Chong Yu.
Then the train came and then we took to city hall.
At city hall, we saw many people.
Like, York Hao, Ying Ting, Arlinka, Joey, Min Ting and many many more.
So the 4 of us were still hesitating whether to go to the St Andrew Cathedral because we feel damn weird because we were the only non-believers.
So in the end decided to go.
Went to bread talk with zh to buy his bread and then later went straight to the Cathedral.
Upon reaching there, a group of girls ask if we knew where the CTI concert was and then we said follow and point to Ying Ting.
So the moment we went into the waiting hall.
We were welcomed by two host.
Manu and Hong Guo.
So was abit shy at first :X
Then began more okay.
While waiting, kept talking with all of them.
Manu was from NTU and Hong Guo from pei cai secondary.
But both of them looked the same age because Hong Guo damn cao lao.
After waiting for awhile, we all went into the small and squeezy room to find the CTI people in the front.
They look damn cool and they are cool.
So went to sit down at the 22 table and it was damn squeezy.
My leg like numb already because I was wearing jeans and it was squeezy and I had to cross my leg.
Then they started with some songs and the first song surprised me already.
Their voices are simply awesome.
There was some break in between and one of the break require us to talk about friendship in a group.
So we had to talk to Hong Guo and Manu about friendships.
After the break, they continued singing songs.
There were many songs sung.
Like inconsolable, shape of my heart, live like we're dying and their synchronism totally rocks.
During dinner time, was able to talk to Hong Guo.
He talked to us about his life and how had believing in god helped him.
It might be insulting but I feel that such things is because of psychology.
I think that it's the mind that is doing the job and changing a bad person to a good person.
But I agree that people who believed in god has changed a lot.
Another example was Eric, the cute guitar player.
He told us about his lowest point in life.
He was a drug-addict and he had no friends and his parents wanted a divorce.
He claimed that god has changed his life but in fact, it is he himself who had changed his own life.
It's a good thing actually to believe in god but I won't want to be control in such restricted thinking.
Believing in Jesus Christ makes you become a better person but I think it may cause the uniqueness in everyone to be lost.
But I respect Christianity and all other religions.
At first I thought it would be some psycho-ing session but it ends up I walk away learning things about life.
Really enjoyed the session.
Anyway, back to topic.
Was having dinner and then Alvin was sitting with us.
The very cool pianist that kept talking to us.
So there was NDP rehearsals at the padang and we coincidentally met up with the fireworks.
Hong Guo said each firework was $10k so he would always say $10k gone $10k gone when one of the firework exploded.
But it was a magnificent sight.
Went back to the room to see their skit and then listened to "I see You"
It was when I started thinking about my past life.
I have really wasted time and I guess it should be time I treat people with respect and love.
That's how we live our life right?
So, after the whole thing went outside of the cathedral and then took some photos.
Chong Yu and Zong Han were talking to Alvin and I find him a very cool guy.
He looked Asian because he was from Hong Kong but he sounded totally like American.
So after taking photos, shook hand with Alvin and then all of us went back.
Took train with Ying Ting, Ivan, Zong Han, Chong Yu, Chelsea, Hong Guo and his friends.
Zong Han left, then at Hougang, YingTing, Chelsea, Ivan and Hong Guo we all alighted.
Went home with Ivan and Chelsea.
So, today I really had an enriching day.
Really love how the CTI sing the songs.
Totally awesome.
So to end off this post, I shall ask a question that Alvin asked us.
If you had a choice, would you choose to have 27 hours in a day or to receive $200 a day?
Bye!
