Pumpfest NMQ 2015

As I touched the last tile of Route 6, I remembered I was so happy but somehow not everyone cheered for me.

Because the whistle blew.

I was late by 2 seconds.

This means that I only completed 2 routes out of 6 in the competition.

I was so extremely pissed with myself.

Why did I drink that sip of water?
Why did I not get the rules correct.

When it's 1 minute left, I thought it was 2 minutes left.

I took my time.

And in my mind, I was thinking "There goes my finalist placing. Just cause of 2 seconds."

Was so upset the whole time, but kind of get over it by the fact that it was just a careless mistake of mine.

So I was collecting my photos from the competition and Justin Mo was saying "Results are out bro, let's go."

Kind of reluctant to see my results, but kind of interested to see where I was also.

Mixed feelings.

I popped my head through the crowd that was around the slip of results.

And there I saw it, I saw my name in the shaded region.

I was 3rd!
WTF.

It really came as a shock for me.

I did not expect that result at all.

I was so FUCKING HAPPY.

Sorry I need to use that.

SO FUCKING HAPPY.
I remembered jumping around when I saw the results.
Hahaha congrats to Joshua too!

Really like to thank J MO for guiding me through the training phase.

And I'm so glad those late night trainings weren't wasted.

Even though I can say I didn't train to my hardest.

But I can safely say, the effort I put in somehow paid off.

Next up is NMF 2015.
