Stress gone!

The Geography test is finally over!

For tomorrow, it's just A maths test and Chinese test.

Today, had chemistry spa. Mr Too was the examiner and the experiment was quite easy.

Just that when Parag light up the bunsen burner, I almost laugh because the flame was damn big.

Recess time, I stayed in class to study for my Social Studies and could not really concentrate because the class was quite noisy at that point of time.

Geography lesson was super tensed up.

Finally, school ended.

Was damn happy that the major things have cleared up.

After that, Yi Fei and I went to look for Mrs Raymond.

It was my first oral practice with her and I find it quite useful.

After that, went for CCA.

It was belay school today.

The seniors were the climbers while the Sec 1s were the belayer.

Climbed twice.

Once belayed by wei lun and the other by chin yue.

The one chin yue belayed me was damn fun.

I climbed the third lane which was the most difficult and I reached the top!

After that still went to do 4 pull ups on the fourth lane (Yellow)

After CCA went for dinner together with Chin Yue, Ling Fang, Xin Ying and Jesslyn.

After that, bus-ed home with Ling Fang.

I'm so looking forward for the cans camp.

Bet it's going to be damn fun.

Off to study chinese test and pack my stuff!

Sleepiness sucks.

Today during chemistry lesson, fell asleep.

Didn't really listen in class.

But after recess, was alert again.

Today was sorting of cans.

Super difficult to sort out as there were many different kind of cans.

But as usual, felt a sense of accomplishment after the day ended.

After that, went to have dinner and den Zong Han came my house to study.

I was trying to be awake all the time but always fail.

In the end, we thought of a way which is, I called him to take a boster and hit my face.

So damn tired.

Well, too bad, geography tests always makes me like this.

Plus tomorrow have ss test and chemistry spa.

When I accompanied him to the bus stop, we saw the can again.

And the result = thickness of 5 papers stacked together.

Super thin. HAHA

Not superteen.

Damn.

I love TESTS.

Today, bought my dictionary and went to play basketball.

After that, I just left it there.

And I realised it was lost after 4 hours.

Immediately went to find but it was gone.

Went general office and luckily, a Secondary one student had returned it.

Was damn grateful that he didnt take it.

After that, CE had free period.

Assembly, we all went to the hall.

There was so many polytechnics which provide many many courses.

All these courses just don't really suit my dream - to travel.

Maybe tourism is good for me but seriously, I have to choose my own path in life.

After school today, went to wash cans.

Finally, we washed finished all the cans.

So damn happy!

4 weeks of disgusting maggot eggs and maggots in the bags.

I think all of them become flies already, which was less disgusting.

After cans washing, had dinner and Zong Han came my house to study.

However, instead of studying, we were actually talking about a lot of things.

We talked about the girls we liked and like and so many things.

He's just a very nice guy. So innocent.

So, after that, I accompanied him to the bus stop.

I brought a coke from my house and after finished drinking, I crushed it and threw into the middle of the road.

We were just so bored that we stared at cars zooming past the can, flattening it.

It just reminded me of my crazy primary school life.

Doing anything I want, from playing car park catching to disturbing bangalas.

Wednesday have three things! Geog test, SS test and chemistry SPA.

Say goodbye to me.

Two is better than one.

Tuition super cold and boring.

At least English was better.

After tuition, went to eat at kfc and do my homework.

Took more than 1 hour to finish 6 maths questions.

Super fail.

After that, went hougang plaza to play pool with chin yue.

He taught me how to break properly but still cannot make it.

After that, went to eat at kopitiam.

Headed back home and here I am.

Today was quite a boring day but nevertheless, tomorrow school is starting again.

Hope I don't feel sleepy in class.

I need to catch up on my studies.

Sports day.

Sports day today!

Ran 8x50m and sadly, didn't win.

But more importantly, got people say I run fast! I'm damn happy to hear that.

But also, some people say I run damn funny.

I injured my lower back and it is super pain.

Every time I bent my back, it would hurt.

But after awhile, it won't hurt anymore.

But when I straighten my back again, the pain comes back.

After that, went to hougang mall to eat.

The whole hougang mall is flooded with xinmin people and thus, it was difficult to get a seat.

We decided to split up and then it ended up with Zong Han, Wing Lun, Kim Meng, Jun Wen and I who went to Ajisen to eat.

After lunch, bus-ed back to school for cans washing.

Today, we washed using a better method.

One bin with soap, one without.

And the cover of the one without soap was put on top of the one with soap.

So after washing the cans with soap, we just slide down from one to the other.

It's like a factory process, damn cool.

Most significant thing is that I got my whole shoes wet because the bin was being pushed down towards me.

I didn't walk away as I thought the drain would protect me, but in the end, the bin fell over the drain and it marked the start of a tsunami over my body.

After cans washing, went to play soccer.

There was Wing Lun, Kelvin, Zong Han, Chong Yu, Ryan, Zhi Yang, Kim Meng and I.

Couldn't really play because of my injured back.

After that, Chong Yu left first and the rest went to a shelter to slack.

Rebecca and Shi Yun came also.

It was a damn funny session.

Wing Lun, Zhi Yang and I were catching balls by scooping the balls into our shirt.

There was so many kinds of stupid pattern and it was just so funny.

I also found it funny that I need to take 15 seconds or so to straighten my back.

Guess it's quite a severe injury.

After that, went to had dinner outside school and the noodle stall auntie was damn pissed at us.

Kelvin went to ordered 3 bowls of laksa and the auntie misheard it.

The auntie keep saying that she did not hear anything about laksa.

But in the end, her anger ceased I think.

After dinner, walked towards bus stop with Zong Han and Zhi Yang.

I were playing with the ball and I thought the ball is too big to go through the fencing of the canal but the ball is smaller and BOOM! It went down all the way.

I had back pain but I'm the one who drop the ball, that's why I went to take.

I thought I was going to die of pain because I tot the canal was damn high.

In the end, I stood below in the canal and my hands could reach the floor above.

So two things I've learnt:

1. The ball is smaller than the hole.

2. The canal is very shallow.

During the bus ride home, Zhi Yang and I was sitting together.

Behind us was some stupid gangsters who blasted their music.

After they got down, I pointed middle finger at them LOL.

But I was just showing to Zhi Yang as a joke.

We were saying how noisy their song were. "Baby~ baby~ baby~ Ohhhhh!"

We were already laughing like hell when the guy in front turned back and look at us.

When he turned back, me and Zhi Yang were laughing like hell! But with no sound of course.

So, went back home and here I am now.

Off to do my maths homework.

Tomorrow, I want to go out after tuition!

A sleepy day.

This morning was super sleepy.

My first three periods are like a dream to me.

Mdm Tian asked me to put the chair back and I don't know why I was damn pissed off.

I pushed the chair back from the door and she asked me to put properly.

Then later she asked me why I so moody (or something, never hear properly)

Then I raised my voice "The chair also not I take one!"

Then I just walked off.

Felt a bit guilty =/ but she like don't care also.

Anyway, today cca was doing rig up and knots test for abseil level 2 test.

Cca today was considered quite fun because we learnt how to abseil using some weird knots.

Feel quite professional after today's session.

After that, had dinner with ODAC people and bus-ed home with Ling Fang, Jonathan Lim and Polien.

Wanted to talk more private stuff but Jonathan was damn extra :X

Tomorrow have sports day and I'm running for 8x50.

Hope my lower back and ankle don't hurt tomorrow!

Yes We Can!

This morning, went to collect cans from school.

Surprisingly, 401 has contributed a lot of cans!

History lesson - Had test and I think I screwed up 1b)

PE - Played floorball, quite fun.

Maths - Probability diagram and tree diagram.

Anyway, after chemistry remedial, went to canteen.

There was two groups of people.

One is 101's farewell party or whatever while the other side is Yong Guan's birthday.

Wished him happy birthday but I didn't join the group because there was a lot of volleyballers I did not know. Anyway, happy 16th birthday!

Today there was cans washing, but it was more of a motivating day than tiring day.

Firstly, after we washed 427 cans, we stopped and everyone gathered.

Kelvin and Wing Lun gave a speech to us.

It was considered quite a formal speech and I felt impressed by how they carry out themselves.

I was thinking if I were in their shoes, would I have the courage or the ability to give a speech to people of the same age?

The next two weeks is definitely going to pull the team closer together.

Though we have only known each other for months, but we are getting closer every single day we are together.

I am so looking forward to the overnight stay and at the same time, wished that it would not come so soon.

The overnight stay somewhat marks the end of this project and I think I will miss every single working crew and committee members.

Let us put in our very best for this project and enjoy the success of it!

Anyway, almost all the committee members were present at that point of time.

We all put our hands together and shouted TOGETHER, YES WE CAN!

After that, went back to the canteen and talked about some CONFIDENTIAL stuffs.

Went for dinner and the rest left early.

Left me, Ryan, Zong Han and Kelvin.

Kelvin, Zong Han and I were thinking of staying overnight at my house to study but in the end, it only ended with Zong Han coming my house.

We studied from 10.10 - 11.20 and we finished 4/5 of the chemistry topics tomorrow.

We were saying both of us are fated to study together.

Next time must study with him already!

I need to go sleep already!

Its 1am and I'm so tired.

Talk with Dad

I just had a talk with my father.

I was thinking to myself

What do I want to do when I grow up?

I've always wanted to be a scientist but my mindset has changed.

I think in our short life, we should discover the whole world.

That is why, I chose to be an adventurer.

But, my father told me, if I become a scientist and discover some things that would benefit the world, I would be so wei da (I dunno how translate)

So, should I be stuck in my own world and become wei da in the future?

OR discover and enjoy life and live life to the fullest?

Actually, the answer is quite clear to me and that is, to be an adventurer.

This is my dream now.

My mindset may change again when I grow up, but who knows?

Symposium

Yes! Symposium ROCKS!

I like the whole freaking project!

It may be boring doing research and doing powerpoint, report and poster,

but in the end, it is worth it!

Seeing how interested Professor Zukotski is, and the "I think your project is very cool!" I've realised all our hard work paid off.

To my fellow NYP group mates: You guys have been wonderful. The efforts we had put in was paid back with the success of this project. We have gained lots of knowledge through this project and even though sometimes we always push work around, but I learnt quite a lot from all of you too. Thank you guys!

Symposium was damn fun, with every group members sitting behind, di-siaoing the FUN JI person. Its damn bad but I LIKE IT :D. Also, some of our friends (Lenze, Chong Yu, Ryan etc.) came to support us. Okay maybe even though you all didn't really supported us, your presence there was very much appreciated. Thanks dicks!

On the side note, I learnt how to tie a tie! LOL. It's my first time wearing a tie and I think everyone looked very good in it.

After symposium, we went to have our dinner/lunch. The food was like magnet to Ivan. Not just metal to magnet but two magnets of opposite poles. There was me, Wai Heng, Ivan, Chin Yue, Jerome and Marcus Quek. After that, I went back to ODAC. Missed out quite a lot (I think) and we celebrated Rui Hao's, Ying Ting's and Yvette's BELATED birthday. Everyone was brushing the cream of the cake on each other's face.

During the time, I was kicking balls with Marcus.

After that, went dinner and took bus 147 with Ling Fang, Jonathan Lim and Polien.

I've come to a conclusion : With the right attitude, be it forceful or not, it is surely going to help me in doing things and solving problems.

Off to study my HISTORY!

Today, biology lesson - Biology quiz (I need to buck up on my Biology)

Maths lesson- Ended chapter 4 + start probability

Chemistry lesson - Alloys, Sacrificial materials blah blah.

Had recess and after that go play soccer for 5 minutes.

After that me and Wai Heng left for Symposium.

My view on Symposium was totally different.

The rehearsal started at 11.30am and Mr Kuo passed us a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car Kit.

We experimented with it and decided to use it as part of display.

The presentation was editted by Mrs Devan.

We had our booth set up and it looked magnificent!

I think Mrs Devan is a nice teacher even though I didn't liked her last time.

She helped us with our powerpoint and I felt damn grateful to her.

Also, Liang Kwong came to our school and talked to us.

He had also put in alot of effort for our project and had been a very good teacher mentor.

I can't possibly acknowledge him in this post because it will be super long.

After that, cans washing.

Stupid way of washing cans but its just so fun!

We filled the cans with water and let it sinked down to the bottom of the thrash bin.

I just realised many people are actually very nice today.

I suddenly think Jun Wen is nice, though he is abit lame.

I also think Zong Han is very nice as he helped alot.

I also think Rebecca is a very nice girl in terms of her relationship.

After dinner today, Zong Han, Rebecca and me were talking about somethings.

We may be strangers but Rebecca actually told us what happened.

Anyway, today I tried to be positive of everything and it actually do help!

Tired.

I'm learning to face every problems and stress that I have with the right positive attitude.

It actually works.

Though I am super tired physically and mentally now, I could actually twist the way I look at things and it seems much more simpler.

I am trying to change myself to a better person, and I will.

I am trying to not hate anyone at all, and I will.

Don't worry, I will still be my usual self but the difference is when I'm stressed up, I will see things from a different perspective and the problem would be gone.

Anyway, today's lessons I learnt pratically nothing.

During cans washing, we saw a mice which went through the small gap of the shutter when we were taking out those thrash bags.

I couldn't go in of course so I climbed onto the second floor through the wall.

RAN AND RAN AND RAN AND SHOUT AND SHOUT AND SHOUT.

And in the end, the mice jumped down from the 2nd floor all the way down to the floor.

It freaking survived and ran away.

Don't let me see him again mother chod LOL.

Anyway, thanks marcus for treating me dinner!

Off to do nyp things and tomorrow would be a super busy and tired day.

This morning went to tuition.

Met Chun Arn and went for Chinese tuition

After that, met Yong Guan and Chin Yue and we went for English tuition.

Durnig English lesson, something funny happened.

There was one new student.

He was in my Chinese tuition previously.

Mr Sany asked what school is he from, he replied in a FUCKING GAY VOICE "Serangoon Garden"

When he said that, I was walking back towards my seat and then me and Yong Guan was staring at each other.

We were already giggling but we did not care him for a moment.

After Mr Sany went out of the room, he turned back and suddenly said (again in a gay voice), "Eh zhe ge lao shi sibei gay leh"

Then Yong Guan and I was LAUGHING LIKE CRAZY but of course we didn't laugh openly.

We simply held our laughter until our whole body was vibrating.

Then during lesson, he keep turn back and smile at us or something.

Then I still received some bluetooth file which he sent (I think. Because when I rejected to receive the file, he started laughing to himself.)

Okay whatever, after that, Chin Yue went to find Henry while me and Yong Guan went home first.

We went gym and I felt so weak seeing all those muscular people.

After that went swimming.

We had lunch/dinner at the kopitiam near the police station.

After that went home and here I am!

Tomorrow have physics SPA and NYP.

No mood to go school tomorrow _|_

Bored.

Sec 1 hike

Today, the Sec1s had a hike from macritchie reservoir to Bukit Timah Hill.

Reached school at 7.20 and followed Joe and Ling Fang to buy waffles.

Once we reached back school, I gave the briefing on Trail etiquette to the Sec1s.

Took bus there and was damn tired that I slept on the bus.

Once we reach macritchie reservoir, we started our hike and we walked, walked and walked.

We reached the place where the ancient Japanese bridge was submerged underwater and we started filtering the water into the bottles.

The water tasted perfectly fine.

After that we went to rifle range station to have our lunch.

The lunch was AWESOME!

After that we continued hiking and we bashed through the thick, dense forest to the shinto shrine.

It is a place where Japanese people worship or pray (I forgot)

We headed towards bukit timah nature reserve and we walked over BKE and we saw lots of monkeys on tree branches and on the road.

We reached the nature reserve and started hiking through the path.

The place looked like Mount Panti and Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia.

Alot of memories were brought back to my mind.

The whole forest was super misty and the view was quite nice too.

Through the nature reserve, we reached the visitor centre, which is the pick-up point.

Reached school, took a photo and we went back home.

The whole trip was fun and surprisingly quite tough.

Enjoyed the trip!

This morning, woke up and went to play soccer at 10am.

There was me, Wing, Hardi, Isaac,and Kelvin.

We played until 11am and they stopped cause Hardi left and no one came.

So we decided to go lan.

We went to the kopitiam outside the school to eat.

After awhile Zong Han, Ivan and Kenny joined us.

After that one round of dota with Zong Han.

So, after that we went sumo house to eat.

The food is damn nice and CHEAP.

Okay, maybe is because I'm damn hungry that's why it's nice.

After that bus home with Kelvin and almost fell asleep on his shoulder LOL.

Fun day! But I guess it would be more fun if we continued playing soccer.

Quarry Abseiling

This morning, woke up at 6.50 and prepared and reached school at 7.30.

Took all the personal equipments with us and we board the bus.

We went to dairy farm, which was quite near bukit timah.

The Singapore's quarry is at dairy farm there.

We walked towards the quarry into one empty spot.

We all took many photos there.

The scenery was beautiful, with the morning sun and the shadow it casted on the quarry.

Some briefing and we started our hike up.

The hike up, like Mr Singh said, reminded me of the rock face at Mt Panti.

It was damn steep and slippery.

All we can hold are ropes.

Many pitcher plants and ferns.

I think I can consider this as the most thickest hike ever.

The path was filled with thick ferns and some dried dead ferns scraped our legs that were not covered by the track pants.

We reach the top and the abseil lane has already been set up for us.

I was the first to start.

Just when I was about to step down the cliff, it started to rain.

At first Mr Rodrigues wanted to stop, but after hesitation, he allowed me to continue.

The whole abseil down was damn fun.

The vertical rocks were slippery like hell and its a totally different experience compared to the school's abseil station.

But when I went down, everyone else was on top because they decided not to dispatch anyone until the rain became smaller.

Therefore, I was stucked under the cliff for more than half an hour.

Today was damn fun!

I love this year's march holidays man.

Fruitful to the max.

But before that, we went to eat suki sushi.

After that we went to the playground to play.

I got dare to go to the pull up bar and do one pull up.

Anyway we slacked and play poison ball.

Knn I banged my head on the "ceiling" of the play ground when I tried to jump from one slide to the other.

Then jitao ba lu ku LOL.

So, I've just reached home and I need to settle cans things for tomorrow.

After that DOTA!

P.S I'm fucking hungry now.

Oral sucks LOL. During dinner just now, I still joked to Mr Tang about the oral.

After oral, we went to play soccer.

Finally I am able to kick some balls.

So many people on form today.

Kelvin play like a chicken just like Kean Voon.

Nyp presentation was horrible.

69 slides. Other people were just less than 15 slides.

We filled up the rubbish bin with water and put soap inside.

We use the fire hose and spray the sides.

So many bubbles damn fun.

AND, MR TANG TOLD US WE NOT GOING TO BREAK THE 110K RECORD.

BUT INSTEAD BREAK THE 8K 3DIMENSION RECORD.

So in conclusion, we have wasted our time washing so many cans.

Dear diary,

today it was the chinese prelims. I think I did quite not bad but everytime when I say this, when my results come back, it was always shocking. Can washing today was damn funny. Me and Branaznn opened a bag, and poured inside. We were thinking what was with the "cuttlefish" smell and we didn't care. Until we realised the cans are being infested with maggot eggs and some maggot crawling around. It was fucking disgusting LOL. Then still got one, I turned the can around and down it came - One disgusting decomposed cockroach with the abdomen looking like jelly. Tomorrow would be oral, with my beloved Mr Tang testing me. After oral, I will definitely be high like dog. Talking of dogs, wing lun is a hong kong dog and yong sheng is a msia dog LOL. People who heard the commotion confirm know what I am talking about. Okay bye!

Na Bei.

This morning woke up and went to chinese tuition.

After that went english tuition.

4 hours of tuition.

After that went home took my things and went Yong Guan's house.

We started very seriously, and then he started get bored.

He went to take biscuit, eat.

I kept on getting distracted.

Then I studying halfway then he ask me come into room to watch SNSD _|_

Keep say this hot that hot.

At least I've studied for my prelims.

But I'm afraid its not enough.

Tomorrow still have to go wash cans and the day after tomorrow have oral.

Which means, I would not have time to practice my oral and Mr Tang will hear my awesome chinese.

LOL the time now is 11:11.

Tomorrow I'm going to have four hour of tuition straight.

After that maybe go play awhile then go back home must study for prelims.

The prelim is still stressing me out.

After lessons today, went home to bathe and went to celebrate melvin's birthday.

Met vincent at 1.50 and we went amk hub together.

Watched Alice in Wonderland and I think it was a not bad show.

After movie, we went to eat and after that went SHINE.

We reached at around 7.10pm

Shine was totally awesome.

The performance was good + seeing everyone dressed up was cool.

During intermissions, me and minnie went to find her xiaodidi LOL

The whole process was damn fun with all those bondedness between the sec 4s

We all went damn high and I got taopok by 20+ people (including adam the most significant weight)

So again, today was fun and happy.

Its the holidays already and I'm going to be super super busy.

Bio lesson was even fun with the using of syringe to draw things by dripping the water drip by drip.

Cans washing was pathetic at start with 6 working crews.

Had to start the whole thing myself by asking the people to help.

BUT THE THOUGHT OF PRELIM IS SCARING ME.

But who cares, my oral teacher is Mr Tang

He can correct me before the real thing comes.

Do I have a choice?

I want to go for my CCA outings but is being tied down by the cans project

If I go for the cans project I will be losing out so much in my CCA

If I go for the outings, I would break my assurance to Mr Tang that I will take care of collecting cans.

Then adding onto this, prelims are coming and so many other things are undone.

Fuck this.

Just had a talk with Wing Lun and Jit hui an hour ago.

All of us have different views about stress.

Actually, through this short chat, I learnt that:

-Everyone needs help from their friends no matter how strong he/she is.

-Stress will not exist if you face your problems with the right attitude.

Today, once school ended, I went to do my maths 15b.

It was difficult but me and Jeremy did together so it became easy.

Cans washing today was pathetic.

So little people.

But everytime it ended great.

I went back with Yong Sheng after eating.

He asked me to walk right when i wanted to walk left.

Then I really believe him then I took 15 mins to reach back home.

When I reach home, I remembered Joe telling me about odac girls quarreling over something.

I don't know what happened but I feel that being friends for so long and going through thick and thin together we still quarrel over such trivial things? (dunno whether issit trivial though)

Hope tomorrow everything clears up and we become closer.

Assembly and CE was fun.

The whole game is like world of goo quite fun.

Assembly was quite funny with the Indian guy acting an Indian accent.

After lessons, went 405 put bag and go collect cans.

First time didn't went with any teachers.

Mr tang gave us $15 to cab there and I just realised we haven't return the change to him.

We went vivo first.

Then we went suntec, the friendly manager.

Today I want to thank Min Jian for helping me to coordinate even though he ordered me around.
