I should really start studying.

I've been wasting my time away.

It's the question about happiness and success again.

But I guess, to get to that happiness I want in the future, to travel around the world, I should really work on success for now.

For I know, in this 2 years in JC, every now and then, I would feel happy.

I once told myself, I want to be someone outstanding.

How to be outstanding without working hard.

Bullshit man.

Jun Wen told me I have to start dribbling the ball.

If not I won't even be close to my goal.

Or rather, I should first stand up from the reserve seats and find my goal.

I know that I would have a lot and a lot of distraction here and then.

Relationships problem.

Who wouldn't face them.

In fact, it wouldn't be a soccer game without your opponents.

How else would I improve without my opponents, these obstacles.

It's a test.

These 2 years.

A test of perseverance, a test of juggling, and a test of focus.

That's the time I woke up today.

Because I kept trying to sleep.

Hoping that I will drift back to the sweet dream hours before.

It was so damn real.

My dad just talked to me.

"Do you still remember in Secondary 1 you very determined to work hard after getting like 100+ position in the whole level? Then Sec 2 to Sec 4 you were very hardworking also. But come JC1, you like never put in effort leh?"

I literally answered "I just want to be happy"

About Success in life or Happiness in life.

It really struck me.

I've always think about this.

And I've always chose happiness no matter what.

Though sometimes happiness is brought about by success, happiness can occur without achievements too.

It never occur to me that studies is important.

Maybe I'm still young, I don't understand.

And that's why my father always ask me to study.

He knows the importance of education in our life.

Because he knows the harsh reality of this society.

For me, I don't think wealth is that important.

You can't buy happiness.

You find it.

But just like what Alice (in super8) said, "You don't always get what you want."

How true.

We don't always get what we want, but we can always work towards what we want.

Hard work pays off.

Trust me.

However hard you work towards something, sometimes, we still don't get what we want.

But in the hard work we put in, we gained experience and valuable lessons.

Thus showing how hard work pays off.

For me, I've found back my path.

What I want.

I will work hard towards it.

And for me, happiness is all that I want.

So I will work hard, to find that happiness.

NEW COMP

Okay this the first time I blogging with my new computer which I just fixed yesterday.

Very big screen.

SUPER SHIOK.

NO LAG WHEN DOTA.

CAN PLAY MORE GAME.

But the computer almost dieded just now just because I wanted to install the games.

SUPER WASTE OF TIME.

In the end I didn't get anything done.

Super pissed off.

Anyway, yesterday was a nice day out with my family.

Woke up at around 1.30pm.

Ate and then went to help to fix the comp.

After fixing the comp, kiat me and my dad was feeling very accomplished.

Like we damn pro like that.

HAHAHA.

So after that, went to bathe and then went to Nex with the whole family + Amelia.

The 6 of us went to eat at Food Junction.

Ordered Pepper lunch.

Saw Chao Wang, Leslie and Ngee Kiat.

Omg damn long never see them.

Okay so after that, went to eat.

After eating, went to get Kiat's iPhone.

White iPhone!

Damn cool.

Before he get everything, I left first to zh's house.

Went there to study chem and then played some dota.

Once I reached home, played dota with Zhi Yang and Ivan.

Then later Zhi Yang and I played enfo and some jurassic park game until 3am.

LOL.

It was quite fun la.

After playing, went to sleep.

Woke up at 10.30 today.

Went to bathe and prepare and then left to Dhoby Ghaut.

Then Salim smsed me to say meet at Nex at 1 instead.

And it was only 11.25 at that time.

So I walked around Nex first.

Went to pet store to look at hamsters and rabbits.

Aww.

So cute.

Then went to arcade and played reflecbeat and jubeat.

Quite cool refleo beat.

After that, zh called to tell me that the movie outing was cancelled.

WTF

So I went to zh house to find him first.

Later left his house with his mum.

His mum went off while zh and I went to eat at Serangoon Central.

Ate hai xian tang.

After eating, went to take train to hougang and then from hougang there, walked to Salim's house.

It was quite fun at Salim's house.

Kenny came later.

We cooked noodle, half boiled egg.

Played enfo, played iPad, played portal.

Transferred the games.

It was quite productive.

As in play productive.

Not study productive.

LOL.

Shit sia.

No time to study already I still procrastinating.

Then now got more and more outings coming.

How am I supposed to study.

Bad time management.

Random fact of the day:

It's not 11:11 yet, but I do miss ALOT of people right now.

11S103 CHALET

CHALET.

This is one of the most random and most impromtu and kinda successful chalet for me.

Things have been going a bit crazy these few days.

Too fast paced, and too tired, to actually find time to sit down and think.

Something is still affecting me.

Or rather, someone.

The chalet was super fun la.

Really bonded with my class guys.

Then wth, many weird things happen in the chalet.

First in the tap water.

The tap water only has boiling water.

WTH?

Then we used the tap water to cook our cup noodle.

LOL.

And also, since there's no guys, peeing was always with the door open.

Then that time I just shat openly because it was very foggy in the toilet.

LOL.

Super funny la.

It's like things that would happen only in an all guy's school.

Then everything is just damn weird la.

It's kinda eerie at night.

And it's super small.

But I still managed to sleep la.

Bridge is the game that is most played during the chalet.

Damn mad.

Then I realised whoever team with me always lose LOL.

We also managed to make up a BBQ where everyone only need to pay $8.

It was really quite worth it!

All the food's idea I come up one.

Wah, like a boss.

Roasted honey chicken, fish nugget, hot dog, crab stick, and many more.

$80.

Oh ya, I forgot to mention that only me, Eugene, Albertus, Ryan Phua, Yi Da and Vivek stayed in the first night.

Freaking 6 people in a chalet.

LOLL.

But oh well, the chalet is small.

The second day was kinda like a lazy day.

Everyone just slept.

Especially Eugene who slept until afternoon.

Then once Yi Ren reached our chalet, the 6 of us (excluding Vivek) went to buy the BBQ stuffs.

Yi Ren, Eugene and I one group, Albertus, Ryan and Yi Da one group.

They cycle while we bus to Parkway.

In the end we reached first.

So went to buy our food and then went back.

Slack a lot in the chalet.

Then finally got people come.

Edwin, Li Ying, Celestine, Cheryl, Joaquin, Destin, Wei Lun and many more came.

So the chalet kinda became more successful.

I feel quite proud of the BBQ itself.

AND THE WHOLE FREAKING CHALET.

It's kinda successful man.

It's booked one day before.

The BBQ is an idea one day before also.

Everything super impromptu but we managed to make it a success.

Really thanks to those who contributed a lot.

Especially Eugene.

Hahaha.

2nd night was quite boring.

But cycling around with Wei Lun at ECP was quite fun.

We went to see our sandcastle.

Totally gone LOL.

Become some lump of shit there.

All become Darren Chia's mount meranapi or whatever.

After cycling there, it was around 1am, so went back to chalet and gather with Albertus, Joaquin and Edwin.

So the 5 of us slacked around.

I slept at 2am while trying to watch saw 2.

Then woke up at 6am when all of them came back.

Those that went lan and pool.

Siao one sia.

3rd day which was today.

Went to eat at macs early in the morning.

Saw one of the LTC facilitator who I didn't recognised at first.

She was the one at void deck B facilitating the peer management thing.

And she was in my group (Nicole, Vhidhya, Dominique and Lum Yi)

Felt quite guilty haha.

After that went back chalet.

Slack awhile then book out.

Went to Vivek's house which is at katong.

Those who went are, Wei Lun, Eugene, Joaquin, Destin and Jocelyn.

We played with his xbox and kinect.

Wah damn fun.

The dancing game damn hard to play.

LOL Vivek dance damn funny.

Like bollywood.

Eugene dance then keep swearing.

WTF how to dance sia CB.

Damn funny.

Yup, went back with Wei Lun later at around 6+

Then took bus 12.

Took to Tanah and then mrt home while Wei Lun walked home.

Then saw Gilda at White Sands.

109-ed home and then I freaking fall asleep in seconds.

Then when I opened my eyes, I'm freaking at my house there.

And my left palm is wet because I drooled.

Leadership Training Camp 2011

This camp totally reminds me of Sec 2 Adventure camp.

Full of weird happenings.

Especially the one I told Yu Ling about.

I MISS MY BED FUCK.

I'm very tired to blog!

So too bad, I'm going to sleep soon.

Really learnt in the 4 days.

Really initiated and pushed the group higher despite several moments where I just sit there and slack.

WTH and I just dozed off.

It's really damn tiring now.

Maybe I shall go sleep now?

Okay shall finish it fast.

Day 1 :

Made friends with Hanis and friends and named our group.

*infinity*

tad-pole game.

Must find my partner.

Found Raynian and we became friends.

He's my pole while I'm his tad.

Hahaha it's fun la.

Like randomly know a new friend.

Oh I made friends with Weeky and Vidia too.

But I lost my voice immediately.

Left to Changi at around 12+

Went there had lunch.

LUNCH USED HAND TO EAT.

THEN WE PLEDGED TO EAT EVERYTHING WITH OUR HANDS UNTIL THE CAMP ENDS.

It's damn cool.

Nothing fun really happened in day 1.

Except for bathing.

Bathed naked at public bath with Wei Lun, Leon, Wilfred, Terence, Govind, Raveen and many more.

Xin Horng, Edbert and Darren Chia got tired of waiting so they went to bathe in a cubicle.

DAMN FUNNY TTM.

HAHAHAHAHA.

It's damn funny la, bathing with captains and then everyone just became gay.

Okay TMI

After bathing had some facilitation activity and then de-brief and then slept.

Slept beside Hanis and Shaun/ Shawn.

Day 2 :

Made the "infinity" cheer.

Low elements high elements.

The most memorable thing in the low element was the all on board thing.

Mr Hon called me charlie boy and then everyone knew me.

Oh well, we squeezed in together and then we sang song together.

It was damn fun and team bonding.

High elements.

Ivan almost reached the challenge pole.

Really was impressed by Ivan's courage to do all the high elements though he was afraid of heights.

He managed to overcome his fears of height through abseiling, challenge pole and the walking on a wire thingy.

There was a rock climbing competition.

Each group was supposed to send a girl and a guy representative.

Infinity sent me and Qistina to go up.

Climbed a speed of 33 seconds for rock climbing competition and a lot of people know me as the monkey.

HAHA.

Even Miss Lee call me monkey.

But too bad, Chin Yue and Ying Ting climbed a timing of 32 seconds.

Totally owned me.

Then another guy called Sugi climbed a timing of 29 seconds.

THEN I EMO.

Then Amsyar and Shaleen climbed too because they were the belayers for the competition.

At the wow wuzie, Charlene and Park were so sweet because they completed the high elements together.

They did it!

And group infinity was so proud of them.

However, this became a new scandal story for them.

LOLOL

After this, I forgot what happened already.

BECAUSE I AM DAMN TIRED.

Oh I think it was the rock climbing competition and then brief about the next day's sandcastle building thing.

And went to sleep.

*edit* There was an elective course.

I signed up for peer management.

I think the elective course is kind of wasted because everyone was very tired and they have to do it at night.

It's like the timing where no one will absorb anything.

But I grouped with Vidia, Dominique, Lum Yi and Nicole!

Quite a cool group because I knew everyone inside.

Hahaha.

So everyone in void deck B had to make a skit to show different tough situations in our leadership journey.

*OKAY I SHALL GO SLEEP FIRST AND CONTINUE TOMORROW MORNING. (WTF I WROTE THIS IN MY DREAM WHEN I FELL ASLEEP IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER)

Day 3:

Sandcastle building.

But before that, we had a short PT led by Mr Han.

Then sand we went back to have cool down and then had breakfast and then went to East Coast through a bus for sandcastle building.

Sandcastle building was really something that needed a share vision.

If all of us never listened to our mayor, we wouldn't build our 2041 Meridian City.

It's only when all of us listened to Vivian then we will have a shared vision and it's only then we are able to build our Meridian City.

So yeah, it was fun.

After lunch, de-briefed and then went back to camp.

Discussed on what food to buy for BBQ and then discussed on what we want to do for campfire night which was at night.

So yeah, Hwee Min came up with the idea of doing a skit.

Showing how Group 8 has changed from Day 1 to Day 3.

It wasn't as pretty as others but I really loved it as it's just so through that we've been so close in just a few days.

During BBQ time, all the house comm people just became mad.

We just danced and jumped around when nice songs are played.

When they played party rock anthem, I WANTED TO JOIN, but then Shafeeq and I had to stay to cook our meat.

So the two of us didn't go there.

Oh well.

Before the start of the campfire, the house comm presented a short dance to all the Meridian leaders.

It was SUPER high.

Especially at the guitar part where everyone just danced and jumped in one clump.

Super high la.

Likka awesome only.

Then after campfire, cleaned up and then went to find group 8.

Talked about the whole camp and share our experience about the camp.

After the so called last debrief of Infinity, most of us went to sleep.

But I didn't.

Went to find all the house comm people at the shelter there.

We just talked about ghost stories and funny stories.

It was 3 am at that time.

Some people who were scared of the ghost stories ran to the canteen.

While some of us stayed for the last ghost story before we all went to canteen too.

So I shared my OBS and the XMS stories to them.

I think the OBS I say until not scared already LOL.

After the ghost stories, some people went to sleep already.

Then I went to find Nicole and Chin Yue with Wei Lun.

Then Nicole down there keep saying "Chin Yue Zhang Da Liao!"

LOL FREAKING FUNNY.

Then I wanted to laugh but I can't laugh because I had no voice throughout the camp.

Due to the stupid TAD POLE game.

Okay so played Tilt to Live and stuff.

Later Kalinda and Valerie came to find us.

So I played GoKart with Kalinda.

LOL she only won me once.

It's only my third round hahahaha.

Then Jeanette was sleeping on the bench beside me while a lot of other people slept already.

It's around 4am ++ at that time.

So after playing GoKart with Kalinda, went to watch Wei Lun, Govind, Amsyar and 2 other guys play goldfish.

Some card games.

Then it was super funny when Wei Lun cheated and bluffed Govind.

HAHAHA.

After that, went to sleep on the floor with Wei Lun and Leon.

Then I woke up at around 6.10.

Then Michelle Koh was there also.

Valerie and Kalinda haven't sleep too.

So went to find them and then kinda talked to them.

The Michelle keep disiao-ing Wilfred and Hwee Min.

HAHHA.

I think Wilfred like sleepwalking lor.

Damn funny.

So TADAH, at around 7, went to brush teeth with Ashiq.

Then blah blah blah, breakfast, cleaned up the camp, de-briefed, got our shirt AND OFF WE GO BACK TO MJC.

After going back, took pictures and stuff and went to BK with some of the house comm people.

That included, Leon, Wei Lun, Edbert, Kalinda, Valerie, Nicole, Darren Chia, Xin Horng, Ivan, Shafeeq, Serene and Gilda.

OH and Govind.

So a lot of them left after eating so left Edbert, Leon, Wei Lun, Darren Chia and I.

They started talking about house comm stuffs.

About the feedbacks.

Not talking about the feedbacks here because I had enough of sharing.

So went to help Yu Ling take picture of Triton 9HC.

Jabrina's birthday was on Monday.

After that, all the people who were doing serious talking in BK came out of BK to eat cakes and stuff.

So we shared about our stories.

About our journey all the way from nomination until here.

It was really cool to hear about everyone's story.

Especially Edbert and Ashiq.

I always had a respect for them.

Like how they are able to lead with confidence and truth.

I was really inspired by Edbert, the way he talks in front of crowd.

He's really firm.

AND HE KNOW HOW TO DANCE.

I really enjoyed this camp. Made a lot of new friends. Kinda caught back up with Ivan. Hwee Min became like a good friend. All the house comm people became from "House Comm People" to "Friends". It's really different now if I were to see them again. I talked a lot to Yu Ling on the way home after the talking outside Burger King. Really comfortable talking to her. She made me think a lot as well. Really exciting to see all 34 of them soon. STUDYING AT EDBERT'S HOUSE??
